There is an open seat on the Cheboygan Housing Commission Board of Commissioners. It is an exciting time to be involved in housing in Cheboygan. Applications may not have any conflict of interest including being an owner in the section 8 program or holding public office. Sealed bids will be received for the sale of City-owned property by the City of Cheboygan at the City Hall located at 403 N. Huron Street, Cheboygan, Michigan 49721 (corner of Backus and Huron Streets) until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019. The successful bidder may be awarded the bid at the Regular City Council Meeting to be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall.

The City of Cheboygan is seeking “Letters of Interest & Qualifications” from interested City residents for consideration of appointment to a vacated City Council seat until a Special Election can be held. Please submit the same to the Office of the City Clerk, PO Box 39, 403 N. Huron Street, Cheboygan, Michigan 49721, by 4:00 p.m., July 3, 2019.

The City offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4th for Independence Day. The offices will reopen on Friday, July 5th @ 8 am.
