CITY CLERK: The City of Cheboygan is searching for qualified candidates to fill the City clerk position under the supervision of the mayor/city manager. The City Clerk oversees elections and serves as the official custodian of all City records and documents, issues city permits, and manages staff engaged in Clerk operations. This position is also responsible for the preparation of Councils’, it’s commissions’ and committees’, agendas and minutes. Strong communication and computer skills are a must. A high school diploma with additional education or training in office administration or related field – an associate’s degree preferred. This is a non-union position with excellent pay and benefits.

Cheboygan seeks Community Development Fellow to spearhead city-wide projects in Cheboygan through 15-month position
Applications are now open for the CEDAM Community Development Fellowship, a full-time, salaried role starting October 2021.
Cheboygan, Mich. — Cheboygan is seeking applicants for the CEDAM Community Development Fellowship, a 15-month paid position that will help expand organizational capacity and take on a variety of development projects in Cheboygan. The fellow will work full-time beginning October 2021.

- 10:00 pm Sunday, April 25 to 7:00 am Monday, April 26
- 10:00 pm Monday, April 26 to 7:00 am Tuesday, April 27
- 10:00 pm Tuesday, April 27 to 7:00 am Wednesday, April 28
- 10:00 pm Sunday, May 2 to 7:00 am Monday, May 3
- 10:00 pm Monday, May 3 to 7:00 am Tuesday, May 4
- 10:00 pm Tuesday, May 4 to 7:00 am Wednesday, May 5
- *10:00 pm Wednesday, May 5 to 7:00 am Thursday, May 6 (if needed)
Please do not wash clothing without first running cold water faucets until the water is clear on these days and the following day to clear your lines of rust and other particles. Call 627-2582 (Water Department) with any questions or concerns.
