City of Cheboygan’s Resident Water Service Line Verification

Residents of Cheboygan may receive letters identifying them as selected for the Water service line verification project.  The purpose of this project is to sample and confirm the materials of water service lines (WSLs) within the City, as required by the Michigan Lead and Copper Rule. This is a mandatory project that all Michigan communities must complete and is being done with no direct cost to the residents of the City of Cheboygan based on an American Rescue Plan- State Revolving Fund Grant awarded by Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE).

This project used a random selection of locations within the City to be verified based on the requirements of the State of Michigan.
