Request for Proposals: Prime Professional Services

The City of Cheboygan is requesting proposals until Thursday, March 28, 2024, from a licensed landscape architect, architect, or engineer for services as the Professional Services Contractor (PSC) to the City of Cheboygan for the Universal Access to Cheboygan River & Children’s Trail – Phase II. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheboygan County Early Voting Receiving Board for the February 27, 2024, Presidential Primary Election has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 8:00 P.M. at the Cheboygan County Building, 870 S. Main Street, Cheboygan, MI 49721 for the purpose of canvassing early votes for all precincts in the municipalities listed below:

2024 MARCH BOARD OF REVIEW
MEETING SCHEDULE
CITY OF CHEBOYGAN, CHEBOYGAN COUNTY
The City of Cheboygan Board of Review for March 2024 will meet at City Hall, 403 North Huron Street, in the Council Chambers on the following dates and times:
- Organizational Meeting – Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 5:15 P.M.
- Appeal Hearing – Monday, March 11, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. –12:00 Noon; and 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
- Appeal Hearing – Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.; and 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.
The Board of Review will meet as many more days as deemed necessary to hear questions, protests, and to equalize the 2024 assessments. By board resolution, taxpayers are able to protest by letter, sent to PO BOX 39 Cheboygan, Michigan, 49721 or dkeipert@cheboygan.org, provided protest is received prior to March 13, 2024.

CITY OF CHEBOYGAN PUBLIC NOTICE
ESTABLISHMENT OF EARLY VOTING SITE
To All Qualified Electors in the City of Cheboygan
Notice is hereby given by resolution of the Cheboygan Board of Commissioners under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site for all federal and statewide election dates will be as the following.

870 S. Main Street
Cheboygan, MI 49721
All qualified electors in the City of Cheboygan have the right to mark a ballot and deposit the ballot in a tabulator beginning the second Saturday before an election and ending the Sunday before the election, and any additional days prior to the second Saturday before an election that the City of Cheboygan designates. Early voting will be available at the early voting site for the following hours:
Saturday: 8am – 4pm
Sunday: 12pm – 8pm
Monday: 9am – 5pm
Tuesday: 9am – 5pm
Wednesday: 9am – 5pm
Thursday: 11am – 7pm
Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday: 8am – 4pm
Sunday: 12pm – 8pm
